Hari Yang Baru...

Salam Sumer...
Dah pun tahun 2009... cepatnya masa berlalu.

Until then...

Tahun Baru

Salam buat semua...

Aminn.....

Been here all the time...

Sad but true, sometimes the twist of fate seemed to be very evil enough. But I have the faith that God knows best. Whatever tests or hardship He had put you in, He meant it for the best... so that you will know that He wants you to remember Him...

Adoi laa...where have I been all this time?

Uhuhu... now only I've got to be in here.

Been away for so long, now stuck in the middle of an unwanted situation.

Been reading an interesting entry from a fellow blogger (click here). About Natasha Hudson's so-called attempt at literature... yeah right... and just reading the translated part of it just want to make me go ROTFL (rolling on the floor laughing)... forgive me if if were being too cynical, but the translation... I mean, the Malay version of the words is enough to convince me that it doesn't sound original. Imagine my surprise when Jannah Raffali had compiled along THE ORIGINAL version of the poem. Aiyoh... makan sesama diri??! Why don't you just said, "I want to eat you in my bed?" That'll save a lot of problems.

To be honest, how easy is it for anyone of us to write a poem... or better still, writing rhyming lines? I still struggle with it until today, knowing that different readers have different perceptions towards written works. Just to get that message across is pretty painful enough, what's more with getting the right words to get it done right.... Anyway, I'm not trying to say that I'm smarter than Natasha Hudson, but just want to explain what it is all about.

Translated works are okay, as long as you credit the original author(s). But copying it word by word, then passes it off as your own? That's 'kucing tiru' (copycat) la gurl.. plagiarism in plain and simple words. Yes, it is undeniable that Malaysian writing scene is not that flourishing enough, but there are avid readers out there. I don't know whether it was her plain ignorance or laziness that prompted her to do so, but that is going to be a very bad message you're sending to the kids, especially those who inspire of becoming writers in the future.

Hurm, I guess I should review all my works first... just to make sure that I don't just 'cedok' from those concerned....

My Latest Eye-Catcher....

Whoa, it has been a while since I last write in this blog. Sorry, been busy with other things that has been buggin' me over & over again. Well, at least I know this place is still visited by those who are very much in touch with me.

These days, I find myself being bombarded with images of men being exploited to the fullest. Gone the days when we see the scantily clad females, running along the coastline in an oh-so-sexy-slow-&-sexy-run with that red thing (sorry, I honestly don't know what is called). Not to mention the stereotypical images of damsel in distress.. a sexy blonde bombshell, wearing skimpy clothes, being so clumsy with almost all the safety kits available & ended up calling for help... get the picture?

I'm not trying to downgrade my own kin, but let's face it: that is the image that has been bombarded into our minds over the years. As if the females had nothing better to do... huh!

But now, those notions are slowly changing & taken over by other images... men in the minimest of clothes. Lately, I'm being very attentive to those movies with men in less clothes. Since seeing Daniel Craig in that tiny piece of clothing call bathing trunk, I find myself terribly hard to look elsewhere. OK, you can call me a pervert but for us, the females, it is so rare for us to see such luscious (hehheh!) sights on the big screen, much less on a movie poster. Finally, we have found a reason to like men for what they are... I guess... hahaha!

If some of you have figured it out, there were a few of epic-like movies in our movie shores lately. I've watched 'Pathfinder', mainly because of Karl Urban coz I have to admit that I had the storyline in my head after watching the preview. Suprisingly, I went to watch it anyway (since I'm not paying for it) & I was GLAD to be there... Why? Well, eventhough the movie sucks (a bit), the image of Karl Urban WITHOUT proper clothing just gets you to your brain... okay, don't think I'm trying to get dirty here... What I'm trying to say here is that though the movie is a male-dominated type, but there is SOOO... much skin being shown by the males... much for an eye-candy...MUAHAHA!

Soon, the movie '300' is opening in our cinemas. That is even better... men in capes, some nice belts & a small piece of so-called-clothing covering their modesty...HAHAHA! Since this movie is about war & manhood, I might just hit the cimenas to appease my curiosity... =)
